Louvre Museum
Visit the Louvre museum, the most famous museum in the world covering almost 10,000 years of history!
- The Louvre was not supposed to be a museum when they built it. It was a fortress to protect Paris in case of English invasion from Rouen by the River Seine.
- If we estimate that you spend 10 seconds in front of each painting and statue, it would take you approximately 96 hours to fully visit the museum.
- Parisians were totally against the construction of the pyramids. Of course, now we are quite proud of it!
